Years ago, I had an idea for a story about a vampire girl, her werewolf friend and a local mad scientist. I decided to start working on it recently but the start of a project is always rough (for me) because it takes a while to really feel out what my characters look and act like. Instead of launching straight into my main story, I decided to do a short story of little consequence in order to move through that period. Expect the style of things to shift around a bit as it goes along.
