His green and gold armored scales act as a camoflage against attacks by larger predators, and now he instinctively knows he does not want the same fate as his parents whom he is determined to find. Yet, strangely, being a predator himself, though a wee one, he is also, at one and the same time, sure he will never see them again. Such is the expectation one has when one is a predator…hunting large reptiles, sometimes several tonnes larger than oneself, can be daunting, even fatal.
