Time after Time page 16a -Sheldon's Awesome Girl

Poor Sheldon. At that age were the idea of liking a girl is still ackward.

Or was he talking about the time machine? It was asked How many of these things have they built?! Their credit cards have to be maxed by now.

 
To which I say hey. There's only 2… or three. We already established that that Hawkings has one built into his suit. Of course we aren't totally clear on what happened in all the past time line loop that lead up to this one. I we go back to Time After Time #4 we have the original one from 1989, the one they built from alien technology (and Lose!) a new one at the start of the second time loop. The one used by the "Time Lord" who "Kicks Their Butts". Then the loop repeats in 2000 & 2006 before this loop which we don't know all the details about yet.

So I'd say ah… maybe a half dozen to 10. So we are right up there with Dr. Who and the number of Time Lords you can have. And some people wonder why two great minds that seem to be the only other ones who know about time travel know about Butch, Walter and their group. Hawking mostly likely been busy disproving time travel can be done to keep anyone else from doing it.

But you don't need to worry about the money. Einstien, Hawking, and Flabbergast all are connected with Universities which are covering their research costs. So when your Student Fees go up you know that part of it is going to a good cause. 

I would be more worried if there is anyway to resolve this mess or if the author is going to have to cop-out and use some half baked solution like LOST did.
