SOSI CapSid onRocket gets his name from Rocket Semi from Caliar Time Travelers, another old LRPLI story (this one, unlike Crystal Celadon, could actually make a comeback, however). Mao was another one of the character's last name.
Rocket's code is KI-001; for those who get the reference, this is why he's several inches shorter than Keso, hah!
