47-3: Communicative Setbacks

Whew. It feels like they're going up later and later every day, huh?

This comic was supposed to be more animated, too - not actual animation, but the imp actually did things, and I don't think Gary was going to talk in Panel 4 (the Imp had something funnier to say rather than a setup for Gary's line), but I was feeling lazy and easily distracted, and couldn't be assed with the extra stuff.

Maybe it's just me, but I like that Gary's now getting into how I'd initially planned him to be. A paranoid, self-conscious geek. Just like me. Initially, he came off as a bit of an obnoxious jerk. Just like me.

Anyway, I've got nothing planned for next week, but I assume it'll have to do with alchemy. I am hopefully gonna squeeze in the Mandrake in a Jar, so look forward to that.
