[429] Mt Vester: How I Do Casting

No, I'm not sick of him. It's just that I could see if I used Lukas any more, he'd become the new Anti_kid. And a massive storyline revolving around one specific enemy was what got me bored in the first place. Not to say that I didn't like it, I did, I just felt it was dragging on for far too long, which is why I got sick of GG. So, in order to make sure I don't get all jaded again, Lukas will not be appearing until about page 450, 460, somewhere around there. That should be enough.

Anyway, onto today's rant. Yesterday I was going through the old 'Digital Purgatory' archives and I got up to where Nix leaves his job. The saga was one of the longest in the comic and almost practically redefined it. This is sort of like how GG was going with the whole Anti thing.

Personally, now that I think about it, I don't know where I could have gone next with the old universe. After all the Anti_kids were dead and Aussie and the Wizard fought again, Aussie would have been out of enemies. And he'd have lost the ability to contact anyone who was dead. I mean, most likely, the Wizard would have survived, but then what?

I can only think that I would have had Aussie go off and search Fatum for survivors, maybe reuniting with Gold and Soul, and then having new adventures with a new enemy, before the Wizard returns and they fight.

But hey, I'm glad I made the decision to restart. It's like a whole new comic to me, and I'm good with updating those (You know, when they're sprites) and I can relive all the fun I had with those old characters when I write up the scripts for the drawn version.

Until next time
The Aussie Kid
