Not the best joke, I know. And if you don't get it, look at the last panel a little more closely. Then you can absolutely hate me because you're the punchline.

Went into the comic shop yesterday to try and get back into buying single issue comics. My biggest problem though is that most comics are in the middle of a storyline. Batman just got killed and revived by the robot bat thing, Lex Luthor has his own team, Green Arrow and Black Canary just had their son kidnapped, plus that New Gods story.

So I figure 'Hey, they got a whole pile of back issues, I'll get some of those and then get into the stories' so I head over to the back issues bin and look for the New Gods storyline. Now, a normal comic is $2.99 American, so they charge $5.50 Australian for it. These back issues I found were $8.00 each. I pay an extra $5 and I can get seven stories in one. Yeah, they don't print off every story into a graphic novel collection, but they do print off the good ones.
