Page 25: Crossover Melee - The Dogs of War

Remember back at the end of issue 4, when Julie's mom called her, revealing she knew Julie was a superhero?  Yeah, I'm finally getting back to that.  Also, I wonder what people think about how I'm currently drawing Julie.  It's been an attempt to try to get her to look more like her race, and keep something distinct to keep working with.  But it will be interesting to draw her and her family, since I need to make characters look similar but distinct.
 
At some point I may try photo references for Julie.  I do have a celebrity that I would be using–and if I had the money and resources, I would cast her in a movie as Eiderdown.  Okay, I don't know how she is as an actress (since she's a model), but she sure looks the part (albeit a bit too skinny).  I've been thinking of trying my hand at a photo mannipulation to show people who I'm talking about.
