Fractal has little patience, but this all comes from the same area.  Imagine being respected for what you do and then going to a place where what you do is considered a bad thing.  It would be a huge cultural shift, and Fractal hasn't had to deal with much negativity towards hir being a superhero before.  So, even among civilians, Fractal's guard is up, hence creating the construct in the home–zhe's ready to fight if need be.
