Today, I/we fast.
(That means not eat.)

I keep on forgetting I'm the only Jew.
I was hoping that other new posters might see this, and that they would be Jewish.
Well, this is to discuss the holiday, as well as Jew's as a whole.

I think this might be the last thread I make about a Jewish holiday. Nothing ever comes out of them.

How long do you fast, because my Islamic friend only has to fast from 7 am to 7 pm.

That's easy! Easy peasy! I can go longer than that… Man, when I used to rent out video games for a week… I could go without sleep, or eating for a loooong time. I wouldn't do that now though, it's a sure fire migraine trigger :(

So, repenting bad stuff I suppose…

Also:

Really? Most religions I know have fasting in there somewhere… It's a pretty common theme to abstain from stuff, especially food. If you ask me it's better than all the sacrificing that the old school versions of almost all religions started out with. -_-
