Alright this is the actual game thread. Narrations will be up everyday at around 5:00 my time. Which is centeral (Just figure out what time that is your time).

___________________________________________________________________________________________________The Story_____________________________________
Sitting upon an obsidian rock, a man lazed in the sun, his eyes drifting about his surroundings he seemed otherwise content. His eyes locked on a small figure approaching over the horizon. Puzzled he got to his feet, the sun making him squint his eyes in an attempt to see the figure.
It approached him slowly, a small chill ran down his spine as he finally made out what it was. It was a child, around the age of six, it smiled up at him, but it's smile wasn't normal, the eyes were filled with such murderous intent it felt as if the air around the man was growing thick. He stumbled back, "W-what are you!?" he gasped, before the black tendrils tore from the child's being and into him, piercing the armor like a knife through butter.

Several days past, the body left on the rock to rot, suddenly it began to twitch, the flesh from the body already began to corrode burned away, revealing nothing but a pitch black shadow. The fallen soldier sat up, white circles where it's eyes used to be, the shadowy creature jumped off the rock, grabbing it's sword. Within moments the being took off. Charging in the direction the child had went.

It came across the city the soldier once fought to protect fallen into ruin, the civilians slaughtered, black shadowy figures in their place, blood splattered upon their clothing as they marched onto the next part of the city, snuffing out any survivors they saw. The new arrival felt joy fill it inside, a thrill of the kill running through it's shadowy veins as it walked forward. The chaos it was to sue sitting in it's mouth like the sweet taste of one's favorite treat.

Running down into a sewer, several people found themselves some sort of haven, armed with very little, and with only a few days rations. If they were not to move, they'd surely die of hunger if they were not found first.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________Narration System______________________________

Similar to Mafia, the GM will update the Narrations of what happens at a set time in the day.

The GM will narrate something, and the players can choose to RP what they do within this time of what happens at that point of time. The narrations will then advance the plot later.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________Fighting System_______________________________

Damage dealt to enemies is based on how effective the attack would be on the enemy. Say Player A. Attacks armored tortoise with a bow, it'll probably do jack crap, where as Player B. Attacks armored tortoise with a sledge hammer, it may break the turtle's shell. Send in your attacks to the GM to have them put in the Narration. The attack order will be in the order the PQ's are received so the enemy may be dead before you strike. In the case of multiple enemies, say the enemy's name you wish to attack, and what you are doing to attack it.

Enemy attacks are based by who is closest to it, or who dealt it the most damage.

Example: Player A. Fires a rocket at the enemy, the enemy's attention is now on Player A. Some classes however can pull this attention off a weaker class, such as the Knight's "For Glory" skill, if they choose to use this during a fight, the knight will take damage instead of the weaker class.

________________________________________________________________________________________________Non Combat Game play____________________________

Outside of combat the players can RP, they are expected to remain in character while posting in this topic. Do no go OOC (Out of Character) doing so will be punished. Perhaps by a rather hungry monster taking off your limb.

If the GM says you're a bar, feel free to RP in a bar, get drunk, fall down whatever, just remember to be smart about it. Nobody wants a person to RP an idiot, that does nothing but stupid things. IE killing people with farts.

You can also give items to other players this way. Just makes sure to keep track of your inventory.

______________________________________________________________________________________________Items and Inventory_________________________________

Each player will be given basic starting items, their weapons varying by what class they chose. Three days worth of Rations (Health), their weapon, and some currency.

The Inventory system would look something like this, and can be copy and pasted into your posts to help you keep track of it.

_________________________
_____Zeph's inventory_______

1.Rusted Metal Sword
2. X2 Rations
3. Lizard's claw.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________Looting_____________________________________

When a monster drops an item, you may decide to pass on it. Or the GM will pick a number between 1 and 10 (Or whatever variation they wish) whoever is closest to the number gets the item. (Kind of like the greed system from WoW)

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________Classes_____________________________________

Your class will obviously decide what abilities your character has, and what they can wear/wield.

The classes are as follow.

______________________________
___________Soldier_____________

Soldiers are jacks of all trades, they can use both guns and melee weapons, however their ability to use the larger weapons is limited, they are best with guns. Soldiers rely more on speed and tactics to win a fight.

Soldier's Skills-

Eat Lead: The soldier's gun attacks do more damage.

Duel Wield.: Soldiers can wield any combination of blade and gun, be it two swords, two guns, or a gun and a sword.

Long range: Soldiers are less likely to be hit.

________________________________
___________Knight_______________

The cyber armored champion of melee combat, the Knight is terrible with ranged weapons, but great at taking damage, and dealing it with melee weapons.

Knights cannot use guns.

Knight's skills.

Templar: Knights can take more damage while wielding a shield.

Titan's Might: Knights do more damage while wielding a 2 handed sword.

For Glory: A knight can pull the enemy's attention off one ally to himself

_________________________________
____________Rogue________________

Kings of the streets, the rogue is trained in the art of keeping hidden. Great at deactivating traps, and security devices. Rogues excel in thievery and breaking into places. Some places will require a rogue's fine touch if the party does not wish to alert the media of their presence. Rogues wield knives, often in pairs.

Rogues cannot use shields, heavy armor, or two handed weapons.

Rogue's Skills.

One with Shadow: The rogue can avoid enemy attacks this turn by hiding in the shadows.

One eye open: Rogues cannot be taken by surprise, allowing them to avoid critical attacks from enemies.

Backstabber: Take the enemy by surprise may cause more damage.

__________________________________
__________Tech Whizz______________

Tech whizzes know their way around devices, those of the unexplained kind, advances in science allow these little buggers to unleash various attacks that normal humans would find impossible, by inserting various programs into their gauntlets, they can cast a variety of "Spells"

Tech Whizzes cannot use shields or heavy armor, and cannot duel wield. They cannot use guns.
Their weapons are class specific.

Burst of Flame: Launches a blast of flames from the TW's gauntlets at the enemy.

Shock Wave: Unleashes an electrical pulse at the enemy. Sometimes short circuits lesser robotic enemies.

Sub Zero: Attempts to freeze an enemy in a sheet of ice.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________Race_____________________________________
Several Races exist in this world. Some you may recognize some you may not. Here are the listings of the races.

Human: They're pretty much the jack of all trades, master of none. Humans run several of the major cities, however they seem to be more susceptible to the shadow plague.

Elf: Elves are intelligent, and elegant. They make most of the technological advancements, and a lot of the "Spell" research is conducted by them. They are very agile, making for great tech whizzes, rogues and soldiers.

Werewolf: Mutations, Werewolves look like wolves with a human's body, completely covered in fur, werewolves stand at an average height of 7 feet hunched over. They know little of technology, making them terrible rogues, or Tech Whizzes. (There is no curse to a werewolf, that is simply how they are born)

Undead: Different than zombies, and rotting corpses, Undead are merely souls that have died, and came back from the other side. Their bodies remain in the same state as they were when they died. They are cursed with the inability to die of old age, destined to wander for eternity unless killed. Undead look like humans or elves.

Purr: Purrs are catlike people, they have several features of cats, such as, ears, tails, fangs, slit eyes ect. Purr's are very agile, and good with technology. Making for good rogues and tech mages.

Dragoon: Dragoons are humanoid dragons. Looking like elves or humans, these creatures often have horns, slit eyes, and reptilian like features, along with a small pair of wings. Dragoons cannot actually fly, their wings are more of an evolution trait that hasn't left them yet. Dragoons excel in melee combat, and the use of technology, making great Knights or Tech Whizzes.

__________Equipment________________(Possibly optional)

Head: (None)
Chest: (None)
Legs: (None)
Weapon: (None)
Shield: (None)
Weapon 2: (None)

_______________________________________________________________________________________________How equipment works______________________________

Equipment will have stats on it.

Ex.

Rusted army dagger.
Attack 6 (Adds to strength)
Cost:13 currency
Description: A rusted army dagger, it looks like it's seen its share of use.

Your equipment will be factored into the battles when damage is being dealt, or taken. Such as if you're wearing.

Broken armor.
Defense Increase 6 (Adds to defense obviously)
Cost: 35 currency.
Description: It's shattered in several places but the straps allows one to sling it over their frame from minor protection.

The broken armor will be factored into how much damage you would take if an enemy were to take a swing at you.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________Equipment upgrade_______________________________

The GM may choose to drop something seemingly useless after an enemy is killed, however keeping these and taking them to a weapon/armor shop can allow you to upgrade your armor. Such as.

Scrap Metal
Sell Price: 13 currency.
Description: It's a broken piece of metal, perhaps a vendor will want it.

When in a city/town, PQ the GM the item you wish to upgrade and the item you wish to add to it.

Ex.

Zeph said. "I would like to use this Scrap Metal, with my Broken Armor, how much for the upgrade?"
-GM responds the price, if Zeph agrees-

Zeph receives reinforced armor.

Reinforced Armor
Defense Increase 8
Cost 40 currency.
Description: An old piece of armor reinforced by welded scrap metal.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________Shops____________________________________

Shops provide a variety of services, however they only sell stock items. More advanced equipment has to be obtained on the field, and upgraded at weapon/armor shops. A GM can open up a shop in a city by putting it in their narrative as.

Ex.
Weapon Shop
____________

Services: Can upgrade weapons for a price.

Merchandise:
Rusted Sword 10 currency
Rusted Shield 23 currency
Rusted Knife 8 currency
Rusted Rifle 16 currency.

Your sell price is on your item you pick up, simply PQ the GM the item you wish to sell, and the will respond with the money you receive, remember to edit it out of your inventory, or else you could be penalized.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________Let the Game begin_______________________________

I'll post the first narration once we've got everyone who is playing accounted for.

Also, add 40 currency to your money pouches. You'll be using this it buy gear once the game begins.

Narration One

The stench of the sewers clung to the air as they moved, crumbling stone from years of neglect, the sprawling metropolis having been built over the remains without repair. The group moved forward, guided by a few soldiers, their armor gleamed in the dim light of their lanterns. "These sewers connect to a different city." a large soldier informed the group, "When you get there, inform the authorities of this threat."

Another soldier stepped forward, he had a large box. "Though they're probably crawling with things." he muttered, opening the box, several items lay inside. "You can buy what you need from me."

Zachary was wandering through the sewers, adventuring through-out the many tunnels and drains. Ever since he was a small child, he always loved exploring and running, so naturally it came to him. He also became a small time thief around the age of ten, but soon was able to snatch even larger prizes from even more watchful persons. But he was always alone. One day, he tried to steal from Green, a fallen soldier, but failed. Being a spirit he caught him, and Zachary thought he was about to take him in, but for some strange reason he didn't. Even more strange, he let him join him on his travels, at the moment Zachary wondered if all heros were this confusing. He did pick up some ideals of heroism, but still was a Rouge, it isn't something you shake off that easily. It was a good life, until the shadows came. The Thieves Guild had survived, fleeing into the sewers, in small groups so that at least some of them would survive. There they met up with some other survivors, and a small escort of soldiers. Then they were to go to a city connected to the fallen one through the sewers, to warn them of the attack.

He ran up to catch up with the group, once again he had strayed too far. He turned around the corner, making a sharp turn, which then splashed a good deal of sewer water from him to a small rat eating a piece of crusted bread.
Small Rat: Hissss!
Zachary: Huh? Aw, did I get you wet? Sorry buddy, here's some food to make it up to ya!
(Zachary gave Soft Bread to Small Rat)
Zachary: I have to catch up with my friends, I'll see you some time soon!
(Zachary speeds away to meet up with the group)
Small Rat: Huh, nice kid. (Starts to tear away small chunks of bread)
Oh, did I forget to mention? The kid is nice to animals. Not monsters, but animals…yeah, I don't understand him either.
(Zachary catches up with the group, and rushes up when he sees one of the soldiers is now selling his wares. He likes treasures, it's a rouge thing.)
Zachary: Hey, what's your name?
Trader: *The trader grins, revealing gaps in his teeth. Most are white, so he didn't loose those from bad brushing.* Me name's Carl, best damn weapons for sale down here. Probably the only weapons down here for sale. So, you want anything, or should I be selling my wares to the rats?
Zachary: Alright Carl, lets see here…I really don't need a shield to weigh me down…I doubt that gun even works anymore…well, how about this sword?
Carl The Trader: A fine choice sir, a fine choice!
*Carl the Trader picks up Rusted Army Sword, Zachary is about to hand over a small pouch of gold*
*A strong streak of rust in the blade near the hilt starts to leak orange dust*
Zachary: Wait, what's happening?
Carl The Trader: I'm not sure…
*Blade snaps off, falls into the thick water tip first. It lands in the sticky mud, the end of the blade sticking out, dust falling away with the winds blowing through the tunnels.*
Zachary: Eh, on second thought, I don't think I want the sword…hey, that looks like a nice coat, it for sale?
Carl The Trader: Yes it is, for the small sum of 16 coins! You wish to purchase it sir?
Zachary: It's a deal.
(Transaction made: Old Leather Coat for 16 coins)
Zachary: Oh, how about that dagger?
Carl The Trader: You like it?
Zachary: Nah, it's not really good but it isn't too bad. Plus I can't go around wapping monsters with my fists, wouldn't be proper for me. Okay, I'll take the dagger as well.
(Transaction made: Rusted Assassin's Knife for 13 coins)

Giving a yawn and a shake of my fur I make my way to the man selling weapons.
"I'll take the rusted army sword and the old templars shield." I tell him, handing over 35 currency. As I walk away cursing the sewers odor and my heigtened sense of smell I mutter "I suppose this will have to do."

Rotting rat carcasses could be smelt from down the sewer, the area stunk of any asortment of foul oders. The soldiers tried their best not to gag on the air, the large one who was a werewolf was in the same foul situation as Shirk. The soldier selling supplies gave the remaining two an irriated look, "Are you going to buy something?" He called, "We don't have much time before those living shadows find us, and if they do it's all over."

Fear was clear on all the soldiers but the werewolf's face. It let out an irritated grunt to the stench, but that was about it.

Fras begins to inspect a brick in the aforementioned forth wall. Slowly pulling loose bricks out he finds a small dark hideaway "I found a corpse. It seems to be completely intact and i dont see any signs of murder." At that moment a rat scurries out of the wall.

He looks at the rat. It stares back. "Ah, hello sir. I am Artimou D Fainswin. I see you've managed to come across my old self. Well done sir well done."

Fras continues to stare at the rat.

"I apologise. It may seem slightly strange me being a rat and having
the ability to converse as a humanoid but i assure you that i once was one of you."
Fras continues to stare blankly.

"Dont worry i shall be on my way soon but before I go I must repay your kindness. I can lead you to treasure and technology from past beings of this earthly sphere."

Fras shoots the rat and beings to impale it on a stick.

"I GOT LUNCH!"

(Safe to say they lost interest?)

Narration 2 (A tad off time)

The soldier wrinkled his nose in irritation from the lack of response of the other two. He slammed closed the case, "Well then, best of luck to ya fellas" he muttered dragging his wears out of the way, the larger soldier raised his clawed hand. "Head to the west, you will come across the RedCreek, they should be uneffected by the events here."

The team nodded, Shirk grabbing the two non moving stiffs that stood there and walked off. "What do you plan to do with those?" Fras asked, munching on his rat on a stick, the large wolf cocked a brow, but did not answer. Zachary followed after, adjusting his 'new' leathercoat as he did so. The sewer'stench lingering in their nasals as they moved. They came to an intersection of tunnels, the nasty ooze they had been walking in turned to the right, and went down a ramp of sorts, the opposite way however seemed clean of the ooze, but for what reason?

Zachary waltzed over to the tunnel, his child like curiosity peeking, Shirk quickly placed a hand on the boy's shoulder pulling him back, shooting him an irritated look. "We should vote on which way to go." Fras muttered eating the head of the rat. "I mean it seems like the only logical thing to do."

Dilema
You find yourself at an intersecion of tunnels, which way does your party go? (RP your choice, you guys can discuss it amongst yourselves, you do not need to PQ the GM.)

Come on Shirker, we have to keep moving, remember the shadows? Wait, which way to go…well, If it's clean maybe that means there's monster, and that means a battle, and battle means treasure! But the walkway could lead to a hidden niche, covered in ooze, full of gold and whatnot valuables. I can't wait to do something, I'm going to look for whatever valuables are left on the skeletons, you guys stand there doing some more nothing. Tell me when you're ready to do something. (starts to sift through the pockets of a old thread coat on a skeleton) Hm, what's this? (Picks up a sphere of pure silver, the size of an eye, it is attached to a chain of pure gold) Score! guys, guys, look what I found! I'm going to check if any of them have gold teeth!

"We should get out of this ooze" I grumble. "Maybe it'll smell better." Hefting the two unmoving figures I turn and wait for the others to give an answer.

Sounds good, maybe we'll find a way to the next city through there…but, might be someone there, that could be why it is clean. What if this person isn't friendly, and attacks us? I'd probably go insane if I lived down here, that would explain the meticulous cleanliness of this next tunnel…but if we beat him, or her, or it, we might get some treasures…okay, I'm following Shirka!

Im ready for a battle should it arise. Although at the same time it wont bother me either way. Whatever you guys think is best. I tire of the sewers. Shirk. If youre not eating those two can I?

I wouldn't if I were you, they might have some kind of petrifying poison…wait, your hair changed color, how did you do that? Did you finally wash the blood out of it?

"No you can't them. We may need human sheilds or bait. Now lets go before Zach's hallucinations get any worse."

Narration 3 (Semi On time)[/b]

The large werewolf hefted the two motionless figures into the clean tunnel, it smelt of soap, an unusual oder for a sewer. Zach looked around, trying to figure out if Fras' hair really changed color, the dark elf shot him an annoyed look as he discared his rat. "I still say we should drop him." Fras muttered, "they're dead weight, and in the case of Green, quite literally."
Shirk didn't respond, instead they trudged on into the cleansly sewer, uneasiness and excitement filling the little rogue's being.

"What brings you hear?" a voice came, Shirk stopped, the voice echoing in his ears, he turned to see a female figure walking towards him, what looked like a broom hanging from her hand. "What brings you into my abode?" she asked, Shirk turned to look at her. "We are merely wishing to get to get to Redcreek." Fras answered before the wolfman could, rewarding himself with an irritated growl from the massive figure.
The woman tilted her head, she was a beautiful elven woman, her eyes were blue as the sky, her skin pale as snow, she looked upon them, and then grinned, not a sweet innocent grin, a savage, brutal grin. A chill was sent down Zach's spine, "I don't like this…" he muttered, Fras pulled out his revolver.
"We don't want a fight lady." he muttered, it seemed half hearted as if he was being paid to say it.
"Do not do anything stupid." Shirk growled, suddenly black spikes appeared from the walls, the three were forced to jump back, barely avoiding the grazing blow of the attack.

"You…" the woman began, her voice cold, her eyes rolled back. "Have treaded upon my domain… your filth has soiled my sanctuary…" without a second thought the banshee like woman charged forward, her hands turning into black blades.

Damn, the first cute girl I see down here, and she's a neat freak! Oh, the claws are also a no-no, she has to go. Can't have a maid infected with the shadows stalking the sewers, that's where I keep my rat armies! Wait, those bloody fur coats by the entrance…..that, that, come here you twisted, filthy- I'll make you eat your broom!

Dropping the motionless companions I rush forward to meet the foe before Zach can get himself killed over rats.

Standing confused I comment, "Wait, if this is the way to the town we're heading to, and she's infected with the shadows…hang on Shirker, I'm coming!"

"Hang on guys i got this!"
Fras fires at the ceiling. Rubble falls down and hits him in the head.
The knock to his head gives him a vision.

The rat appears before him. "Why must you eat me?"
He stares back at the rat. "BECAUSE YOU WERE DELICIOUS!"
The rat begins to walk away as he comes back to reality.

"On second thought, strategy."
