I've been a member for a while but lost my p-word lol, after finding it again I decided to post a hello message :P So HI EVERYONE! A little about me I guess.. well, I'm an Aussie and love this site, heaps of favorite comics here, especially Simply Sarah, Skyangel's art rocks! I'm also a writer of sorts, I do mainly horror, the old fashioned gothic stuff where theres no real bloodshed or gore to entertain like Saw 3 :P

Will I create a comic.. ? Hmm.. well, as an artist the best I can draw is a fish (a cute fish!) and stick figures.. BUT I have some great ideas for stories so may give it a go! Never too late to learn a new skill to add pics to my words! Anyway, thats about it, cyu guys around the forums and if my comic ever gets going I look forward to the happy laughter of people realising there IS a worst artist than Ken Done!

Hey there, welcome to the D!

Here's a complementary box of meat! Watch out for DC's Cold Hot Cola. It's good, but it's got some…side effects…

Hi, Kemsa!
I, for one, would LOVE to read a comic starring a cute fish and some stick figures. I say go for it!
Also, welcome. And, if you're going to accept the free meat, you should accept Dark's cola (uh, when it's offered) - you have to have something to wash down the meat, naturally.

There are tons of "Aussies" here…Tons. I'm from Texas…there are a few of us. Can't go wrong with horror, Turn of the Screw still creeps me out. As for makin' a comic…you gotta' try. Best of luck to ya' and welcome to Drunk Duck.

Welcome aboard, I'm glad you found your password. Hey, with good writing, a stick-figure comic can totally work.

Have you ever read Order of the Stick? That's about the best stick-figure comic I've ever read.

Go ahead and give it a try, what do you have to lose? Worst case scenario, some people you don't even know on teh interwebs say bad things about you. It's not as bad as some folks seem to think it is. ;)

And if it goes great, you'll be internet famous.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! :D
Reading all the comments and checking out the tutorial section has given me a bit of confidence to, so expect to see my contribution to web comics appearing soon, maybe by sunday, got a great idea for a simple comedy strip involving… a fish! Well, I'm sure even Leonardo had to start somewhere and did his fair share of doodles as a pre-schooler :P *straps on my L-plates*
