It's true. I set up an internet radio station, called Life By Radio. It's kinda connected to my comic, Life as told by Rutger, which is where you can find the link to listen.

It's pretty much a mix of everything I've got on my hard drive, varrying from folk to techno, to metal, to punk and then some. I even do requests. Talk to me on AIM or MSN (You can find the screennames in my profile) and just let me know what you want to hear. If I can, I'l play it right away! I'm that awesome!

I'm also working on a live request system, which basically is a webpage with a list of all the music I have. You get to click the song which will put it in the auto queue list, meaning it'll be played after the nest song. Or after the song that is queued before your request. In any case, jolly good show.

I'm also working on doing a show. But that's a whole different story…

Hey, cool! All the benefits of a radio station without the underground sly shit to avoid the FCC!

If you ever need a "morning show", hit me up, man. My friend and I will provide ungodly amount of lulz and wtf

I can't hear anything. So I'm going to bug you about it until you tell me why.

Instead of bugging me, give me some info…

Besides the link on my comic page, there's some other ways to find it. I hear iTunes shows it, you can look in the ShoutCast directory in WinAmp, or you can just go straight to the ShoutCast website. In either case, search for Rutger, that should work.

Still not working? Send me a PQ.

In other news, I'm going to record some bumpers tonight, so any suggestions will be taken along!

I checked this out. Pretty neat idea, especially if you actually manage to turn this into a full-blown event, you know with specific shows and whatnot. Although I do have this fear that this will all come crashing to a halt if the RIAA were to get wind of this; I've read about a lot of little stuff they shut down recently, including a few stations similar to yours.

Manage a radio station hmm? Well it's fine to have someone of such a high class here in DD! I'd like to hear more about this show you're working on doing though. :kitty:

First off, I don't care about the RIAA :p

The first show that's gonna be featured will be the Coco Show, which is still under construction.

I also recorded some bumpers yesterday, so soone nough you'll actually be hearing me on this station.

And then, I'm close to getting skype running on a live stream, and when I get that fixed, I'm gonna do interviews with DD artists and the likes!

I'm always open for ideas, so just send me whatever you think would be cool!

I don't think the RIAA will give a crap if you care about them or not; I just don't want to see you get sued or something.

Either way, you're really getting good here, especially with bumpers and Skype.

You know what would kick-ass to me? A monthly old-school radio show. I still get a kick out of some of those old mystery shows, or the dramas and comedies that people used to listen to before TV and the internet. I think a show like that, maybe even a parody of shows like that, would be an awesome addition.

Where are the boy bands?!
…I jest. I'm enjoying the wide selection of non-English bands. MORE.

You know de Lama's? Nice.

Also, I got my mic to work, so I can talk through broadcasts now.

I could do something like a hearplay, or some kind of theater-esque show. That'd actually be kind of cool. The improv thing would work if I got several people on Skype, and give them small assignments or something. I'm gonna look into it.

In the meantime, enjoy my random outbursts as I push the talk button!

Yup. My first words on radio were 'Crocty is a britfag'

Epic

Anyways, there's a lot of feedback and noise when I use the mic, so I kinda stopped doing that untill I find a way to eliminate the nooooise. it's well fun to do though…
