so our plane had a million problems, and we ended up landing in england. safely of course. anyways, the front end (pilots and such) said "go drop off your secrets, then we'll pick you up, take us all to the hotel, then we'll all go to the pub." so we dropped off our stuff, and went outside. an hour and a half later, we got a taxi to the hotel, and there waiting for us was a note "we're at the pub" they didnt pick us up, and went out without us. jerks.
on the bright side, i was(am) pretty sick, and drinking pry is not going to help. so instead, i went to the store, bought some nyqil, took two, and passed out for 12 hours. then still feeling like crap, came home.
anyways, the british people at the store didnt know what cough syrup was. i was like "do you have any cough syrup?" and the people were like "que?" and then i was like "nyqil". and still nothing, eventually i said medicine isle, and they directed me there.

I'm trying to read octupus pie right now, but the main character's roommate is such a brainless leach it's killing the comic for me. She has no consideration for anyone around her and smokes weed everywhere an takes her shirt off in public parks(where kids play seriously) I know shes fictional but still…

So on my tracker i saw was getting linked from SA and was all 'FFFFFFffuuuu—'It's a small percentage of hits/day, but I keep getting people coming to my comic from a cam girl site. Maybe it's just like, the same person that's all the time on that site, and visits mine 20-30 times a day directly afterwords? I'm scared to actually "enter" the site, so I guess I'll never know.

Uggggg. Octopus Pie is what I call one of the "circle jerk" webcomics- it's linked on all the popular ones that I read. But… I don't get it. No appeal for me.

It gets better after page 80, its a LOT like scott pilgrim except with stoners and slightly less charm. I'm starting to like it however..
So I went out today expecting to chill with friends and maybe get a decent bit of work done, and ended up coming home at 3 am, with no work done and I believe I may be in a relationship now. How exactly I managed that one I'll never know.
But on the plus side, this girl has read my comic, thought it hilarious and is quite intelligent and interesting, so I can't really say I'm complaining. I just wish I knew what magical quality I have that gets me into these weird-as-hell kind of days.

It's a character driven comic, nothing particularly interesting happens to them, it's just enjoyable because of their effect on the characters. If the chars don't do anything for you then the comic is going to seem boring. I happen to like the characters though, so I really like Octopus Pie. :]

So, today definitely did NOT turn out like planned. I wanted to go to bed decently early (after finishing yesterday's page, of course) and then wake up decently early. My brother urged me to stay up, so I did. I stayed up until about 3:30, after waking up at 6 AM that morning, and didn't wake up until about 11 AM. :(
Ah well. I'm pretty excited though, it's Saturday and I don't have anything really to do, so I can just draw the whole time. Well, wait, I'm going up to Staples to see if they have any Pilot Precise V7 pens. I might actually not go though, just because I could easily just use my V5. But it would be nice if they had V7 at Wal-Mart, for just about the same price that the V5 were.
Oh yeah, and those pens were fantastically. I'm getting results that I've been wanting from pens for years. I'm not sure how it happened, but I feel that these Pilot Precise pens are amazing. They're not really made for comicking per se…But they sure do get the job done. Everybody I've shown the newest pages to agree with me that they look better. :)
I need more small things to put on my birthday list so I'm not disappointed when I don't get anything I asked for.For my birthday, I got… a butter dish. That's all. lol!
Although it is all I asked for, and I do use it every day. Heh. I love my mom.

SOmehow, despite my not being able to work much on my comic lately, I'm just three pages away from having all the pencils done. Whew. Can't wait 'til I get to ink. Can't wait to an even greater degree 'til the stuff actually goes live. Better and more varied panel composition! The end of the exposition extravaganza! Stuff that suspiciously resembles a plot! Proper backgrounds in every panel! And the art's soooo much better than when I started this mess.
putrid's going the same way now too. i can hardly put it down cuase i'm so excited about it. i'm switching it from a strip layout to full comic pages, finner inking, consistant coloring, cool plots comming up. i just gotta MAKE myself step away cuase there's other shit i REALLY gotta get to.

Haha, I'm a lot more demanding than that, unfortunately. I'm easy to shop for because I make it very clear what, specifically, I want. But art isn't always a cheap hobby, especially when you're doing digital stuff. I pay for a lot of my own stuff, but when you add in typical teenage stuff like cell phones and all the records that I want, I'm a pretty expensive kid.
What happened to your tooth?Seven years ago I was in a severe MVA (I've posted pictures of the accident before). Everything has been fine until just recently. The root has progressively gotten worse. The initial exam back then said that everything was fine, just to keep an eye on my teeth.
Well, now the root is dying off and I have to get it cleaned up…sucks
it's getting worse….and i'm already behind on my training. due to last weeks messed up schedule, i only worked out on sunday and wednesday…that's 4 days i missed out on.
dang it, i also just woke up. for some reason, i slept 14 hours last night. i'm sure it had to do with the nyquil. whatever i hate my sickness.
my stomach hurts -_- i ate such horrible amounts of junk food yesterday for no reason, seriously i don't even know wtf happened i just turned into lalia even as i was planning to start eating healthy and join a gym. My brain has some kind of self destructive alien implant that i got after trying to join the working world and failing.
