Thread "Favorite character so far?" in forum "Purgatory Tower"

Obviously there's not much to go off of for a couple of them, but since the majority of the main characters have been introduced now, I'm just curious who everyone's favorite is so far. :3 (I'm sensing a lot of people are going to say Margensen, lol.)

I'm also curious to see how the answers to this question will change as the story progresses.

I do enjoy Aisha's personality more than the others (woo sarcasm), so I guess I'd vote for her as my current favorite. Her dialogues are usually the ones that are most fun to read. We haven't seen terribly much of Winley yet, but my fangirl sensors are going haywire right about now. (omg kawaiiiiidesu^_____^)

yeah, i like winley the best so far ^_^ he just looks like he has that feeling of "im not an emo, but i have lots to think about" thing going on.. i like deep characters ^^ keep it up with the awesome character development to!

I have such a big crush on Cai, so I'm gonna have to say her. No other reason, really. If Cai had Aisha's personality and speech, she'd be a winner. <3

Winley looks cool, but I like Margensen the most so far. Orun doesn't have much on him yet, and Veyra… No comment. Cai's interesting, but jumps to extremes. Aisha's also funny (God, I hate that word, but it's the only word that fits here) but is the main character, and I never like main characters! You get used to them, so their personality quirks and anything else becomes part of normal life, or something.

I love Margasen…he has that solemn yet mysteriously blase persona around him that makes you think why he's in prison. Under that facade probably lies an insane monstrosity! lol I kid <3

Aisha. Definitely. She's cute, smart, has a fun sense of humor (sarcasm happens to run in my family too), and I'm kid of a sucker for line like "There's *definitely* gonna be a corpse to loot somewhere around here."
Second favorite? Margensen. Y'all know why. He rocks.

Incidentally, Shikiro; crushing on characters might be weird, but it's also very, very normal.

Margensen, coolest by far! Just love his personality, especially in the scene where the voice suddenly starts and the girls take cover while he just stands there looking like he hasn't even noticed it.
If I had a fangirl sense it'd probably react! xD

Margensen, whilst the other main characters are discussing about things, He's just in the background with his 'I don't seem to care much until someone makes a mistake' thing…

Oh gosh. This is a tough one.

My favorite would have to be Cai. You can definitely tell she's been raised as a spoiled brat, but she's not annoying about it. There's just something special about a person who accidentally walks off cliffs, blows things up seemingly at random, tries to fight godlings bare-handed (and somehow wins, even if she wasn't in control at the end), and generally acts as a walking avatar of chaos while still somehow ending up as the one in charge.

I like Margensen for being (apparently) the only calm, rational one in a sea of lunatics. The problem is I can't really claim him as my favorite since he just doesn't do enough to really hold my attention. Sometimes he's more of a scenery piece than a character (which is oddly appropriate, given that he morphs into plants).

I think that in the future, Aisha might become my favorite. I love her sarcasm. Even when her life might be on the line, she never seems to be able to resist the chance to make a snarky comment. At the moment, her status as Cai's prisoner has limited her to mentally narrating what's going on (which is still hilarious, given her attitude). We'll see once she's had some more chances to develop.

I like all the characters a lot when you get right down to it. They all have qualities that make me insatiably curious about who they are and what motivates them.

Margensen. Especially when his whole body except for his head is a plant. I don't know many characters who turn into plants, and the ones I do know, I fave. =^_^=

Next is Winley, I guess.
