Ok, here goes…

The Path casting call (if money weren't an issue)!

Chance McGavin: Viggo Mortensen http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001557/
(WHile Chance is actually designed off of Kurt Russel in "The Thing", Viggo's the kind of rough-and-tumble actor that you would believe could take the kind of beatings Chance gets and still manage to get up again. Plus he's able to play characters that are likeable and apprehensible at the same time…which is Chance to a "t"))

Kat: Amy Davidson http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0203221/
(She's cute, but not unrealiztically "hawt", and young-looking enough to be a stark contrast to Viggo's Chance. I think the pair would make a good team on-screen)

Nyarlathotep: Liam Neeson (voice)(Do i REALLY need to link him?)
(I think Neeson proved in Batman Begins that he can have logical evil drip from every word he says. Now put his voice to a flaming skull carrying a knife made of children's bones…and you've got the extra-dimensional deity ready to end existence)

Pop/Edward: John Hurt http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000457/
(John Hurt is just awesome in everything he does. As Prof. Bruttenholm in Hellboy, he's proven he can be caring and sarcastic at the same time…which is exactly the kind of character Pop is)

Inanna: Lena Headey http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0372176/
(She's beautiful and she's bad-ass. She showed in 300 that she can have a commanding presence. Inanna's a goddess of war and fertillity, and Lena Headey looks like she's fit the bill perfectly.)

Ratatosk: Hugo Weaving (voice) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0915989/
(This one's total guilty pleasure. As I wrote The Path, it was always Weaving's voice in my head for Ratatosk…so I couldn't imagine anyone else doing the role)

Wolf(as werewolf): Kevin Grevioux http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0340485/
(Just watch "Underworld" and you'll see why he has to be werewolf-form Wolf)
Wolf(as child): Ryan Malgarini http://www.ryanmalgarini.com/
(Part of what makes Wolf such a tragic character is that he's really just a cute kid with a shitty lot in life. Look at this kid…he practically sweats "cute", slap some scars on him and he's perfect as Wolf's human side)

Everyone else would pretty much be extras, cameos, and CGI.

I agree to everything, Except one. Viggo… Viggo is no Chance McGavin. At least I wouldn't belive so. Then again, It's your comic and your characters. maybe I'm missing something.

I've always saw Chance McGavin as William Fichtner http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001209/ the dark nature, and yet tough enough to get back up and carry one with no thought of his own bodily well being. give him a beard, and I think he would look the part as well. old enough to fit the character young enough to still beable to lay down a royal beat down.

Like I said, as a fans point of view, and nothing more.

Well, IDEALLY, Chance would be played by Kurt Russel…but Kurt Russel about 10 years ago. Viggo is my back-up choice, and who I draw my "this is what Chance's body can do" from. William Fichter…eh. I've never been a fan. Granted, it wouldn't take much skill to play The Path's leading man…but in my head, the image of Mortensen drawing a sword from a stone, and getting struck by lightning looks much more impressive.
