Should knights overthow theirruthless leaders

Posted at

If a powerful knight has a cruel leader do you think they should continue to let them lead or overthrow them. Share your oppinion.

It would really depend on the knight themselves. If a knight does not have a master, does that still make them a knight or does that oppportunity only come with expressing loyalty to a person or cause? Like samurai and ronin.

If it's to a cause, then the knight can over throw cruel leaders if they don't agree with them as they're serving a principle rather than a person, but if the knights loyalty is to that person then it is unlikely that they would attempt anything.

You make a very good point. So if the leader is evil but the knight is loyal to him, it is only likely that the knight would continue to serve the king although he is evil. But of coarse the other knights may not feel the same way which could cause conflict between the knights. Then the knights might end up splitting into two groups and wage war. But of coarse their must be a person to stand up and lead the opposing knights. If they win the battle that man could become the next leader. But a good question would be, what if the leader had power that could wipe out 10,000 men with one blow. Then their would really be conflict. how could you defeat such a leader.

If a leader possessed that kind of power they would be unstoppable, regardless how many knights tried otherwise. They'd only be remembered as martyrs.

that is true that the leader won't need knights, but what if the knights discovers his secrets to gaining the powers and they overthrow him then after becomes consumed by their own power. Then their would be 100,000 super knights. Then the world will need a hero to stop those knights. The question is, who would that hero be.
