Q&A

Ask away your questions about characters and the story thusfar! But don't stop commenting on the comic. 0.0 I like comments. I just want to have a place where I can interact with my viewers/readers and not totally spam my own comment boxes. XD;

Two questions:

1) How likely is it you'll shed light on the spoiler you strangled down?

2) The reassigning angel… is named Gabrielle Ishayiel, I think? So… are they female? It's hard to tell because of the chest (oh my God that's awful), but Gabrielle would be a female name… unless you meant Gabriel… or artistic license… or… something.

@AnnOnAMoose: Ohhhh dear, you are making this very difficult for me. Mmmmmmm…. In terms of the spoiler, your second question is on the right track. However, later on in the story both questions will be answered… In the next chapter, though. Each chapter is about 20 pages, so that should give you an estimate on how long you'll have to wait for your answers.

White with black streaks. ^___^ Because he was previously good, but was tainted by his doubt and it was physically manifested in his hair and different-colored eyes! He went halfway to becoming a Shed. (no, not a shed as in a building)

Shed as in a demon, right? =o

Heya, do you think you could make character profiles to help those of us with short term memory problems to keep track of everyone? :3

Lilac: Lele is actually working on character profiles right now. I've also prepared some in-depth threads about the angels to post here, but I'm waiting for the bios to be completed because they build on the information in there.

I promise you, it's all interesting stuff. =3 *takes on a marketing tone* WE HERE AT REPHAIM ARE PROUD TO HELP OUR CUSTOMERS EXPAND THEIR HORIZONS IN THE INTRICATE FIELD OF ANGELOLOGY.

Rofls, I see.

Also, how are you supposed to pronouce 'Rephaim'? Is it reh-fay-im or reh-fame or what? D: Whenever I read strange words that I'm not familiar with my brain comes up with a bazillion different ways to say it and I'm never sure which one to use. ><;;

I go with "Ref-eye-am" personally, but you can say it however you like in your own head XD; These kind of words get changed a lot by accent and culture or just plain ignorance anyway; there isn't really a right or wrong way as long as people know what you're talking about. An American lecturer I heard referred several times to Buddhism, except he said it "Bood-ism" whereas over here we say "Bud-ism." Very immaturely, most of the audience sniggered every time. d;

Interesting information on the term "Rephaim:"

In my research for the character pages I found other references to the term, but I don't have the time to dig through wikipedia articles right now XD; I remember from one place it means literally "The Dead Ones," and refers directly to the offspring of fallen angels who mated with humans, as well as the fallen angels (or Watchers) themselves. I believe in the title of this comic it's a reference to the fact that Kaph's been 'lost from the fold' and his quest to get back in. Who knows, though - there could be some other plot point just around the corner. XD

Ooh, I found another of those mentions! Scroll down a bit!

Evil, insane giants. =o

In proper Hebrew I think Rephaim is pronounced "Refa-eem". Something like that.

And the sons of the Shedim (evil ones/fallen angels; "Sheh-deem" ) and humans are called the Nephilim ("Neh-fih-leem" ).

Actually, I think I'm going to post a chart of the Angelic hierarchy with information on the separate choirs and the system I am using. I will explain it later in the story, but it helps to have a basis for the bios I am working on.
