Anecdote

Posted at

Finally, a positive review! And no, I can't stress enough that this has nothing to do with either:

A ) Hark's absence

or

B ) The um… mixed reactions to last week's review

or

C ) Oh wait there were only two things.

Anecdote really is quite good! So, you know the drill. What did you guys think?

I am not saying it is the best thing ever, I wasn't rolling around in histerics, but this is a fun, cheerful comic that I enjoyed.
It has great, professional looking art and was very enjoyable.

This was a sweet comic. I think that's the way I would describe it.

I mean it's not always Ha ha funny but it's still good.

I thought it was pretty good, especially the part about 2013.

I thought it was a charming little comic that made one think more than made one laugh. I liked and was glad to see you guys did too.

I couldn't really get sucked into Anecdote, it's not terrible, it was cute and funny, but the constant shifting of characters and concepts just befuddled me, eh, I guess I'm just not a strip kinda guy… I did really like the graffiti psychiatrist, he wouldn't have been out of place in David Lynch movie.

Thanks Kevin, and…uh…Li'l Hark.

It's funny though—I really don't write with "all ages" in mind at all. I keep meaning for the tone to be a bit more biting, even a little acidic, but somehow, it keeps coming out "cute" anyway. I wonder what that means? Maybe I should see a psychologist. (NOT the one in the comic.)

Did you have a favorite page, Hark?

I still don't have internet (using parents computer) so I cant go through and find one, but the one with the drawn psychologist that Kev picked is a very good one.
I hope all the positive feed back will be encouraging for you. Good webcomics are rare and precious gems!

And for the future, I think anyone who's about to get a review from you guys next, should look at all the faults in their comic and indulge on it to the point of breaking oneself down, then if they get a bad review, it won't be so bad and think "Hah! You forgot to mention ***** and ****** *******"
and if they get a good review, they'll cry with joy instead of just go "meh"

A ) Hark's absence

Why Hark! WHY???!!

B ) The um… mixed reactions to last week's review

Man, the Ironic thing about it is that the review and the "response" pushed the Mob Ties up to number 2 for a few days. Boy, does the irony stab at my soul.

C ) Oh wait there were only two things.

Well 2 is the magic number…Oh wait, that's 3.

Byth dont worry, mob ties fell back down the rankings pretty quickly.
I am confident that we profited more from the attention then they did!
