Writer sign-ups ("Season 1")

Here you can sign up as a writer. If you want to be a writer and artist, sign up in both this and artist threads. Just know that you might not be drawing your own work. Put your name (or username) and the name of your character. Do not include any pornographic characters, please, as I want this to be at most PG-13. While I do not expect a large amount of people for this season, I will set up a preliminary round if need be. Currently, I am trying to fill 5 slots, and maybe more if more people are interested.

Okay, you may see by the rules that I decided I can enter. Therefore, here goes:

Name: Ave Messer
Character: Fractal
Powers: Projection of energy that takes the appearance of fractals (Julia sets, Mandelbrot sets, etc.). This energy can be formed to make constructs (a la Green Lantern) or spectacular light shows. Its limitations are in its volatility, as it does not like to keep its form, and Fractal must concentrate too keep it as such.
Appearance: In civilian identity, Fractal is intersex and of mixed race with an average height and weight. It shouldn't be apparent whether Fractal is male or female, or what ethnicity zie falls into. When in the identity of Fractal, zie is ever changing amongst (assuredly human range) heights, weights, races, genders, etc. Fractal's clothing is nondescript as a civilian, but just as volatile as everything else as Fractal.

And there you have it. I love Fractal as a character, but I know the problem: it is hard to keep a character iconic looking if they change so much, and the power is difficult to draw. Hence why I won't even try. That, and I'm a writer, not an artist. I just say good luck to whoever might become my artist.
