Welcome one and all to the place where you sign up to join that one game we've all come to love: MAFIA!

Mafia has a need for players, both new and old. There is no reason not to join! Sign up, come on! Please? Everyone that joins this game of Mafia has a guaranteed kill role, and will get a chance to kill those closest to them! So Join!

Everyone that joins will be added to the final, beautiful version, of the Mafia 50: A Tale of Three Families Special Limited Edition Wallpaper. Which is under construction right now!

The rules for this game of Mafia are the following:
Families: There are three families, every family has the same size, any extras are serial killers.

Killing: Killing works a little different in my game. When someone is targeted
once in a night, they die, if they are targeted more than once per night, they do not. It’s
simple really.

Day 1 – Voting:
Day 1 everyone gets to vote. Nobody can vote for themselves. The members in each
family with the highest amount of votes get to be Godfather. The Consiglieres are
chosen randomly from the rest of the family. Sorry Serial Killers, you don’t
get into office.

Lynch Voting:
Every day there is a lynching, people get to vote for who gets lynched, the
person that has the highest amount of votes will be publicly killed.

Mafia
Member:
Kill: Every night the Mafia Member can target someone, targeting leaves a clue.

Godfather:
Kill: Every night the godfathers can target someone, targeting leaves a clue.
Double Vote: When voting for a lynch, the godfather votes count as two votes
each.
Hiding Like A Baby: The Godfather is hidden, making it impossible to kill them
except if they go out and try to kill someone. When everyone in a Godfather’s
family is dead they are no longer untouchable.
Hat Trick: Every Godfather can, once in the game (Not day 1), choose two
people, those people switch teams. Other godfathers can’t be targeted and the
chosen people can’t refuse. The Hat Trick is narrated, but only the teams that
the two chosen people belong to are revealed.

Consigliere:
Kill: Every night the Consigliere can target someone, targeting leaves a clue.
Protect: Every night the Consigliere can protect someone, that person can’t be
killed that night, protecting leaves a clue.
Lynch Cancel: The Consigliere can cancel one lynch in the course of the game.

Serial Killer:
Kill: Every night the Serial Killer can target someone, targeting leaves a
clue.
Daytime Murder: Once in the game the Serial Killer can kill someone in the
daytime (They can’t do so on Day 1). If they choose to do so, their identity is
fully revealed to everyone.

Such a moving story.

I'll sign myself up but seeing as this is a 100% kill role game, I don't see it lasting for a long time.
Btw. What is the logic behind a person surviving a night, if he's targeted by more than one attacker?

Hey PP! The reason for a kill being cancelled when the target is targeted more than once is mainly because the potential killers will get spooked if they see each other lurking around. Or maybe the bullets hit eachother in mid-air. Or maybe the killers will try to get in through a window at the same time and get stuck. There's just a sea of possibilities!

Yes, everyone has a kill role, but because there are so many ways that a kill can be cancelled it would be (with a three man team), theoretically, possible to keep every person targeted every night alive. That way the game will be less about figuring out who your opponents are, and more about protecting your team mates from harm. Which you could, theoretically do by trying to kill them.

To be frank, if we can't get 9 players to sign up for a game I'm very much in favor of simply putting the game back on ice, until general forum traffic gets better.

It's not the game (altho I admit I didn't read it all the way through). I just have to be away a lot this month and won't have reliable internet. A month from now and I can sign up.
