I know the site explicitly allows adult content, there's plenty of mature comics promoted right on the front page… my hestitaiton is more for personal reasons.

I draw a lot of weird stuff. And it features a lot of fringe fetishisms
that really nobody should be exposed to unasked. I feel understandibly insecure about sharing that portion of my content with people outside the smallest circles on the interwebs who specifially seek this stuff out.

Also I'm not sure if the Duck really wants to feature that kinda content, once you open the floodgates to porn, chances are that it's soon gonna be the only content you will have flooding in. Effectively drowning out the SFW content, even scaring off a lot of comic creators who don't wanna associate with the creepy smut crowd.

Then again, I suppose there's plenty of SFW webcomic hosting sites that exclusively allow only nice & clean comics already. Kind the reason why I'm here to begin with… not having to fear insta-ban for showing a single nipple.

So I dunno, what does the Duck community think? Yes to smut? No to smut? Yes to even the weirdest smut?

Just search El Cid in the comic search and see what one of the most popular creators on Drunkduck has posted in the past.

There is a community of creators of adult content here with all kinds of weirdness. This is the internet. Once you come across something really fetish crazy weird you will find something to top it because the internet is for porn and always remember rule #34. "If it exists there is porn of it"

So post away. Feel free to go beyond beyond.

Or at least that's what I say. If anyone wants to try being a puritanical killjoy well thats your hang up and get therapy. Studies prove that any number of human problems can be solved with some good sex.

Someone once called writing fiction "masturbation by pen". Lots of wish-fulfillment for the author. Smut, porn, erotica might just be the most honest self expression out there. ;)

Thanks for the respones, folks. That gives me some confidence… Maybe I will post some of my tamer comics as an experiment, and if I feel good about it move on to the harder stuff. x'D
