DD Round Up!

Hello my Duckies and Duckers! This is Ozoneocean taking over the Thursday newspost because Bane was eaten by a polar bear (what he does in the privacy of his igloo is his own business, and the bear's, but not when it starts to affect his work…). Aaaaanway,I thought I'd use this as a chance to catch you up with how things are going at DD.

About 3 years ago now DD was handed over the the community and in that time the place has managed to improve in a whole lot of nice little ways, the work and regular newsposts by Kawaii, Hippie, and Banes are a big part of that, adding freshness and vibrancy to the front page. Those guys have been doing brilliant work, not only on that but also Kawaii's work in the features, what Hippie used to do with the top ten, and Bane's work on the Quackcasts with me every week! Also of mention are Irreverent with the work he has done on forum issues and Niccea and her fantastic community work on the DD Awards and Secret Santas every year- and also many other wonderful DDers who've pitched in and done more than their bit, donating their time, money and creativity- Pitface and Tantz Ariene on the Quackcasts, Ironscarf with a newspost, Gunwallace with his music and DD play scripts, JustNoPoint with his coding work, VinoMas with his fashion forum, Genejoke with his community work and newspost art, Bravo with all the stuff he does…
Then of course all our great DD community members that've stuck with us Ayesinback, Kimluster, Ashtree House, Lonnehart, cdmalcolm, usedbooks, tupapayon , Ashenskye, and so many more! I don't like to leave anyone out bt I can be witing this all day, it's already late enough as it is…

Because of our DD community managing sit site, we've actually managed to fix bugs, make communication on the site viable, got rid of the spammy ads that plagued us for years, make sure the place stays running and the bills are paid on time every time, even if I have to make up the shortfall myself… We're keeping the place going and making sure it's still a good community and a great place to host comics!
Not bad for one of the very oldest and greatest webcomic hosts on the net is it? :)
Other places have come and gone But DD has been going since way back in 2002 and we're STILL going strong now!

With that said, there will be some short down time tonight while I attempt to upgrade our ram on the server.
