As a small tot I would buy and all comic books in the quarter rack. I had hundreds of obscure short run titles that were almost 100% void of story, but had great offbeat illustrations. This was my inspiration to draw comics mainly without a story first. I would wing it by setting up a situation and seeing where it went. Later in life I found that "story" Was actually the most important part. I had the drawing somewhat stylized and nailed down, that's when I began concentrating on a good story. Wow! riveting Bio. I think I can sum myself up best, by assuming that I am like you. I love making comics and will go to my end with a pen in my hand.
