Steven Taveras is an Illustrator and aspiring writer whose daily moneymaking profession is to work as a receptionist at the gemological Institute of America in New York Cities Diamond District. He received his Associates in Visual Communications from Gibbs NY and is currently enrolled in the Borough of Manhattan Community Colleges excellent Science program to begin his venture into Astronomy and the Earth sciences.
Steven attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music Arts studying fine arts and received a well rounded education in many fields of art. Evereything from drawing to oil painting to printmaking and woodshop and holds the highest appreciation for all forms of art. He is currently continuing his passion for art and storytelling through his Web-comic "The Blue Earth" which he considers his life's work to bring to full fruition for the masses to enjoy.
