  Unassuming Earthling Ferdinand Mac Ghallan finds that he has been ripped from his space-time continuum moments before a first date with the potential love of his life. Now, Ferdinand must enlist the aid of an apathetic half-goblin and a drunken super villain in order to overcome his cognitive dissonance, and earn the favor of the mysterious “Employers” who just may have the power to send him home. A must-read for anyone who would enjoy a satirical look at the human condition through the eyes of a twenty-something, trying to negotiate with a Libertarian bartender who has a giant spider's head.
