Bio: Nightmare Zero was originally 2 beings. the Zero we all know and love from the X series, and the soul eating Nightmare from Soulcalibur 3. They accidentally fused when Zero one day while patrolling, found a metal fragment in the dirt. he had no idea what it was so he took it back to the hunter base for studying. What he found shocked him. the metal fragment was filled with some kind of energy. the computer couldn't specify, but it was very powerful. Zero then performed an experiment. he started to shock the fragment with electricity, hoping to get a reaction. Suddenly, the computer started going haywire. the containment area where the fragment was blew up and a portal opened up sucking in both the fragment and Zero. Zero and the fragment landed in a grassy field ant the portal closed up as soon as they landed. By now, Zero was very worried about the fragment, and about getting home. so he started talking to the locals about where he was and about the fragment. he learned 2 things, that he was in the 1600s. and the fragment was a fragment of a sword called Soul Edge. Zero knew of the sword because he read about it in the hunter base on a history file. It was supposed to be the ultimate weapon and that many great battles were fought over it. the fragment must of transported him here to reconnect with the sword. he learned of the wielder of Soul Edge, Nightmare. He eventually found him in a remote cathedral far away from civilization and challenged him and a fierce battle ensued. During the battle, the fragment that Zero had started resonating and as soon as they grappled, the fragment fused them together. then another portal opened up and sucked them both in. Zero landed somewhere in the past. He now wanders around trying to find a way to separate himself from Nightmare.
