  Hans Austen Hart is an introverted, imaginative boy living in Boston in the 1950s. Like many boys, he day dreams about being a superhero. When a tragic accident occurs, Hart believes he is given super powers. Whether he's right or whether the powers are just his imagination, Hart is determined to make his dreams a reality. The art style of his fantastic adventures as Cat Man contrasts sharply with his daily life, where he faces real-world problems and tragedies.
