About me:

I'm more of a poet (than an artist)
but few people know

I also like art, especially of snow
Snow flakes, snow drifts, iced over trees,
Immured in the landscapes of soft snow like fleece
Of course, winter isn't all that I like
I'm also drawn to any horses in sight
The galloping, the adventure, the wide open spaces
An experienced rider put through the paces
But you want to know more about me?
Besides the love of riding, winter and poetry?

Summer, I find is my second favorite season
But I wouldn't tell you that without a good reason
Of course school is out for most of this time
Yet strong heat in Texas makes you sort of a mime
Hard to keep cool in summer at all
I find the heat less threatening here in the fall
But enough about seasons, yes I digress
I also have a knack for playing chess
Not many play with me, I don't know why
But I do have other things to pass the time by

I have poetry and art and of course school work
I know that my solitude makes me look like a jerk
My friends understand me, my silent self
And the reason why I have too many books on my shelf

I appreciate a good story and I listen more than talk
Of course my quietness makes some people balk
But enough about me I'm sure you're bored
Bored enough to commit suicide with a sword?
Cheap rhyme, I know, but it gets the job done
