About
"Turn on, Tune in, Drop out!"
Hmmm… let's try and keep me from rambling… though I do love a good rant! hum de dum… all you need to know about me? Eh?
I am very unsure of myself on a lot of things, and filled with overbearing confidence with others. Let's stick with what I do know.
I like apples, broccoli, and cauliflower on the healthy side. Ah, and gravy on the unhealthy. I like spicy things and sweet things. Ah, and to anyone wanting a spice off, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Huzzah! Oh, and if it wasn't for chicken, I could totally pull off the whole vegetarian thing… I just kind of have a love-hate relationship with the feathery little titches.
Hmmm…. let's see… Comedy is a big one for me. If you can give me a laugh, yar be on me good side, aye? Oh… pirates are kind of awesome by the way. Zombie Apocalypse comes around, we are hitting the open seas! Hmm.. oh yeah, comedy. Most excellent. I believe sit-coms can assist any woe. Anytime I feel down I pop in Scrubs, or some other terrific sit-com and let the hillarity ensue!
I love music. I love it complicated, I love it hard-core, I love it mellow, I love it folk, I love it funky, catchy, dance-provoking, instrumental, classic, acoustic, with string accompaniment, with synth, with heavy percussion, with bass you can feel! I love it all! I love it LOUD! The way it tugs my emotions go trailing along. Grin.
I love singing to music, despite my complete lack of ability to do so. My top shower songs are:
-Futile, by Say Anything
-Save Me, by Unwritten Law
-I Will Survive, by Gloria Gaynor
-All the Pretty Girls, by Fun.
-Lull, by Andrew Bird
-Shady Grove, by Takenobu
-Liztomania, by Phoenix
-Baby It's Cold Outside, by so many people. Favorite with zooey. I knowz the male part :)
… that is needed…
Ah, but yes, and there are books. I really do love them. Just lazing about and staring at my collection makes me grin. I love the way they feel in my hand, pulling apart pages from new books, and the creaking sound the binding makes on an older book, from being read over and over and over. There is probably no smell I enjoy more than the pages of a new book.
I like hats and bags that can look patched and can carry a heavy load. I like writing and dancing and going places without knowing exactly why, and sometimes even where. I like collecting Berry Manilow Jones bottles because their variety of labels make me smile, and my closet is filled with shoe boxes filled with scraps from my past that I have never been able to throw away. I like plots I can't guess, and people that always surprise me. I like iced tea and people that make obscure references that most people only grin in confusion at. I like candles and paintings, and doodling over everything it is possible to doodle on.
Oh mai…. hmmm. perhaps we should stop. So much for not rambling… hope that was informative at the least :).
