None of the Twelve ever made it in the city limits, Alfreda shoo'ed them away with her broom mubbling to herself "those no good trouble-making ruffians."

So… yeah, #50. This even kind of surprises me. I am not very good at keeping up with things. I never finish books I start, or video games, hell I barely even try watching movies before I wonder to something different. Classic signs? no! I am just lazy.
So Twelve Men Died is really something of an amazement to me. Now I am not going to get all self-deprecating (i'll save that for when I am sick) and ask why so many of you come back here day-today week after week, its because you ahve all been rcieving your readers checks in the mail… regretfully I am ging to have to put a stop to the checks. So if you have't recieved any or missed some that is just too bad, you ca't bleed a rock… unless its a rock monster because then it might have somewicked cool magic rock blood… off track, anyway.

I say this a lot and I ope it never does sound simply as something that is copy and pasted but I am really thankful for all of of you readers out there. The ones that comment and the ones that don't. I make this for the for you and for me (because I ejoy the fact that you enjoy it as well)

A little history lesson then. This comic is a mixture of all the things that mean something somewhere in my brain matter. Wat mean to say is that this comic represents things that I ave created but have never been ever really able to let go. Of course 12 Men Died is represented in the fact that this is its comic, but there is also the cameo of F7 from my other comic Achievement Wh0rz. Largely though this comic owes a lot to something that I have carried with me for awhile. True Believers! Webcomics was not my first foray into internet stardom. It's now some years ago (only a couple) that I had first tried my hand at satirical news writing in the form of something that I called Empty-Headed News. A few readers out there will knwo about this and have no questions further. For those that don't know, it is what grounded me into the sense of humor that I present in these comics and it is nice to touch on it now and again bcause it was such a big part of who I am as a creative idividual. Now this is not some declaration that I am going back to EHN, or that you should all go find it on the World Wide Web (if you are terribly interested you can just google Empty-Headed News and wordpress, you can then find all of its abandoned glory) this is all about giving credit where credit is due. Much like I tank you for reading, I thank the creative juices of yore for what they allow me to bring to you on these todays.

Thanks again everyone
-Tim
