Desperate for some kind of symbioficational remedy she is lended Nthesse by Dr. Cord, that she put under her bed at night, hoping the phetish therapy will have cured her cancer next morning. That next morning she doesn't wake up--but Nthesse does--as a human being for the first time.

In Altarctica there is a quiet ancient, semi-human intelligent, four-legged mutant race called Psyfs roaming around. The two genders of the race is divided into Pokes, the males, and Pams, the females. In Altarctica there is also this combat sport that originated out of the Isles of Helix called Pammering, which takes the Pams, who are bigger, stronger, more violent and more competitive with one another then the Pokes, and have them wrestle each other in a square ring of foldable sides and filled with mud called a Pammerfall, while being assisted outside the fall by their handlers, the Libaneurs. Polar Ecksprez is a Pammerer who along with her libaneur and friend Garp Orson has worked her way up the ranks to become the next Queen of Queens of the Pammering world. But life as a Pammering celebrity turns out to not be what it's cracked out to be and Ecksprez finds herself loosing control of her life situation and her own mind. Come along for a sports/mystery drama and psychadelic trip down memory lane as Ecksprez rediscovers her way to glory and where it all went wrong.

The Alter Nuclear disaster, also known as A2, brought a continues spread of mutation to the Isles of Helix. And with that also came Cescera. A sentient, mutagenic biomass that grows inside the sewers of the great haven cities that poses a grave threat to all should it ever break out into the surface world. This is where the helixican goverments department of extrasanitation comes in, and their own special quick-response force, Underground, Extrasanitary Operations, U.X.O. Under the leadership of their chief of X-Ops Camaraou the U.X.O employs specially trained and equipped biomorphs called the Cessjumpers to go into the deep, labyrinthian underground of the city to seek out, engage and desintegrate any amassing Cescera and its mobilizing contaminary leaks before it gets a chance to consume the surface world. In recent times the U.X.O has began to clash with a new type of biological terrorists called Contaminators and one of their recent attacks involves the birth of a new cessjumper recruit. This recruit, named Nor, is going to have to learn the ropes fast as the U.X.O goes to hunt for the contaminator group that killed her host who's memories seems to hold the key to the group's secret agenda, while Chief Camarou struggles to keep her sanity dealing with the ever growing incompetance of the Department of Extrasanitation. As the chief herself puts it "It's the foulest job in the world... and it's always about to go critical."
