Louis Armstrong singing "Wonderful World". Just hearing it on the radio, you can see all too clearly in your mind that gratingly blissful face, scrunched up into that sappy, saccharine, shit-eating smile. Such overblown sentiment can be only one of two things: utterly disingenuous, or hopelessly naive and presumably sheltered from anything connected to the real world.

Sugar-coated fascism. The soft, sunny side of slapping you upside your face and screaming "SNAP OUT OF IT! GET WITH THE PROGRAM!"
