Last of the seaside pics for a while, methinks. I played around a lot with this one, Photoshop-wise.

Jetties have always been rather mysterious things to me, I don't really know why. They come in different forms; some are like walls jutting out into the ocean on which you can walk like a runway until you're surrounded by the incoming waves. This jetty here is comprised of huge concrete cylinders half-buried in the sand, interspersed with large rocks and hopelessly knotted tangles of flotsam. When the tide is coming in you can stand among them and hold on as the water rushes around you, all sea-foam and spindrift, and the ever-present pull of the ocean
