Introducing the giant, mutant, ocean lemmings. They're sea monkeys, essentially. Sea monkeys the size of gold fish. Who glow in the dark. I can't call them sea monkeys, however, because of trademark and copyright law. I had a lot of fun drawing them, though.
It wouldn't be until much later in the comic's run that I settled on a method for drawing the eyes. I'm still playing here, but this look was too complex, really, for the style.
