I just watched “The Last Unicorn”, it was a fun filled tail filled with mystical wonder and lovely romance. It was a return to the 80's filled with the animation of yesterday and wonder of a child. Sigh……….Hmmm I suddenly wonder if I shouldn’t have spent more time playing sports and/or eating mud with the rest of man children of the 80's and less time watching stories about unicorns and princes. Yesh no wonder I’m such a girl. (Read sophisticated and intelligent male.) Now I know how my uncle must have felt when his son (mistakenly thinking that was the name of GI Joe’s enemy Cobra Commander thanks to a clever ploy by his sister) asked for a Ken doll for Christmas. I guess end result of not having any lads on my street growing up within 4 years of my age is that I’m manly enough to admit when I’m girly, but not manly enough to try and injure myself proving it. More is pity, I might have learned to like football like my brothers instead of reading so many novels (read comic books) when I was a child. Oh BTW you probably should NOT let you kids read comics when they are five years old as I developed and VERY interesting vocabulary. “My dog ingested my home work! CURSE YOU REED RICHARDS!” (It wasn’t until much later I learned that Reed Richards was Mister Fantastic and that “The curse of Reed Richards” was not a universal expression.)

Er anyway there was going to be a full blown rant on this but I’m scheduled for a 5 AM entrance to work so I need cut this sort.
