Fish Died

I'm a little depressed.

I don't so much miss the small colorful fish, I've gone through too many of them, but the large pleco (an algae eater) that I've had for over two years. It survived that long despite major neglect and other fish kills, but has died from ick (yes that's what it is called) and maybe Nitrogen poisoning (but it didn't die from that before…)
Plecostomus (Plecos) are the most durable fish I know, their only weakness seems to be ick. or so my findings indecate.

Nothing survives in my room, we've tried lots of plants and now fish. It's depressing.
