Author notes
My friend was involved in a moped accident back on Nov. 12, 2008 and passed away soon after. As you can imagine, I was pretty shocked and saddened by the news. Trying to make sense of it, I do what cartoonists do. I drew a comic. It's how we roll. After sitting in my sketchbook for months, I decided to finish it. I was always the biggest smartass in the room, until I met her. I was humbled. She taught me a lot. I take solace in the fact that she's probably giving them hell upstairs. Rest in peace, Snarky Princess. Crystal Leanne Vernor, 1970 - 2008.
