Lowry… the name hails from the movie Brazil by Terry Gilliam, whom I had the pleasure of meeting at the Munich film festival last year. I didn't get to talk to him though… wouldn't have known what to say anyway… except gibberish about how great he is :-D

EDIT:

Nepath: Thanks!
DAJB: The staying behind the white line thing is actually taken from Clockwork Orange, I forget mentioning it :-D Good to know I'm catering to the right audience! The LotR/12 Monkeys refs will have to wait a bit… maybe for another comic too. But hey, it wouldn't be much fun if I revealed them in advance, would it?
Midge: You're right, I wasn't thinking of that… maybe I'd have had to talk a lot MORE gibberish than I ever possibly could in order to start a conversation :-D As to your question, I think there are two ways of understanding it: whether or not Naomi trusts Jack competence or whether or not she trusts A.D to hand over her resultats to him. I guess you mean the latter, and the answer wouldn't be too simple. It would have to do with pointing out that Naomi is used to getting what she wants without too many problems (which also explains her frustration and naiveté on the two previous pages). I haven't developed her personality that much (even though I'm over 100 pages now, whew), but I hinted at the fact that she's born into a rich and influential family from the very beginning; so in a situation like this – when she's stressed out – she wouldn't probably give much thought to the fact that others would have more problems in dealing with the authorities. So on my part it's just a feeling of how her character would react, without an explicit explanation. Were I to give an explanation it would have been something like what I just wrote. Thanks for the interesting question!
Fitz: You should get the "Brazil" Criterion Collection then! :-) Concerning feet: Well, feet are notoriously hard to draw… I'll consider that the next time I draw feet. And I think I'll forgive you… this time! ;-)
