Good news everyone – A.D will from now on be updating weekly instead of daily, so that means you can do all these things you've been neglecting during the past months!

I realize with a sprawling storyline like this supplying only one page a week is not the best way of keeping track, so I hope you'll bear with me. Kudos to the trinity of TheMidge28, DAJB and Fitz, who - as far as I can tell - have commented on virtually every page so far! Thanks guys, I can't begin to tell you how much that means to me… T__T But before I get too sentimental… let's just say as of today there's one more comic by yours truly for everyone who'll still want to have a daily fix: Mr Sandman, the comic I did prior to A.D 1997.

Midge: Sob… I am… not worthy… :-D Thanks a lot! How the ape thing connects into the story… that's one of the deeper mysteries I won't give away too soon, sorry… it's at the core of what A.D is really about.
Fitz: I feel your pain, but as much as I'd like to continue updating daily, it just can't be done. The only reason why I was able to do that until now was that I discovered drunkduck quite late, and I'd been working on this comic for seven years already. I've never been faster than one page a week… and considering I want to keep a weekly schedule on signifikat, it's the best I can do at the moment. So the plan is to keep updating both comics weekly… as you may recall, after I had finished drawing this episode I went back and did eps. 1&2, so that means everything after ep. 5 pg. 22 will be all-new too. Bombshell will keep updating irregularly, and I've got some side-projects (I'm still yearning to work on your script), but A.D 1997 and signifikat will hopefully continue to receive my full attention in the foreseeable future.
Nepath: I haven't really thought much about creating empathy here… generally the one suffering will get more empathy from the reader, but the idea was that Doc Bernstein didn't really have a choice, so she should get a bit of your empathy too ;-)
DAJB: Actually I thought the same when I toned his feet ;-)
