I know I said I was going to update weekly… but a transition of half a week might not be the worst thing. I had some time to tone this page, plus it wraps up the ape/Bernstein backstory for now, so you're not left hanging as much…

Nepath: Glad to hear that, at first I was afraid this subplot would complicate things too much, but now that I'm working on this a second time I actually feel the same way as you do about it.
DAJB: Well, they certainly would have killed him… only they can't afford to. They're certainly not keeping him for entertainment ;-) As far as snapping spines are concerned, I'm right with you… it's not that I had much fun drawing this either… well, you know what I mean.
Fitz: I'm glad my updates make you smile… :-) And I'm also glad the storytelling's solid enough to wipe the smile off your face again with scenes like this :-D
