It's been three weeks since I uploaded the previous page, hope you still remember what's going on ;-)
Updates should be back to weekly from now on. The hiatus wasn't just because of my impending exams and the holidays (some of us have actually MORE time to work on comics during the holidays, which doesn't quite apply to me), but also because I needed some time to figure out what I should change about the following pages. There are only six pages to go (including this one) until I run out of old pages, and I want to make sure they end this three-episode arc in the right way. In the end I decided to change very little, but it took me two weeks to get to that decision :-)
On this page I replaced the last two panels with a new panel. You can check out the original page - and lots more, if you haven't noticed yet - in the sketchbook, including remarks on why I changed these panels (and a bit of dialogue).
And lest I forget: Happy New Year, everyone! I'll go see some Swing Jazz Big Band concert tonight, then spend the remaining time with my family - as opposed to spending time with friends, which I'd done for an x-amount of years in a row. Guess they couldn't agree on meeting this year, so everyone is left to their own devices, which is a welcome change in my mind. And as DAJB said: Party sensibly ;-)
EDIT:
Nepath: Thanks a lot! DAJB: Heh, that was the time when I tended to squeeze in all sorts of little drawings… kinda like in MAD magazine :-) Thanks! Midge: Thanks a lot, and: Bingo! More clues on the following pages… then I'll comment on that a bit more too. Fitz: Thanks a lot! Strictly speaking it's four settings: The top row at the lab, the two locations in the second row, and the fourth at the parking lot (third row). The second row is meant as illustrating Kim's words, they're flashbacks of things we've already seen in episode 3.
