These last few pages of this episode all seem kind of lackluster to me… probably no surprise that I took a year off from drawing comics after finishing this episode (which must have been the longest period in my whole life in which I didn't draw any comics). I commented on the previous page that I'll probably replace a panel. Point is, I don't know exactly where to start and where to stop replacing panels. So I guess I'll just replace panels which are unclear, not the ones which are badly drawn ;-)
What's your opinion on this?
EDIT:
Nepath: Thanks for your opinion! DAJB: Thank you! I personally like how he's drawn with very few pen lines and black areas and still very ape-ish :-) Midge: Thanks! The fifth/sixth panel is supposed to be the ape falling down after his chains have snapped (panel 2). The other things will probably clear up after the next pages. Fitz: Thanks! I added some more stars to this version of the last panel… that's what gives it the depth I think. And actually I have a knack for redoing my own stuff :-) I mean, I didn't change much about the art on these three episodes, but just "remastering" and toning them has taken me about a year. I couldn't have done that without a bit of enthusiasm for revisiting my old stuff :-) As I replied to Midge, the sixth panel is just supposed to be the ape falling down behind the old man.
