I thought long and hard about how to portray this tribunal… At the last minute I figured, well, for A.D it would probably be just another bureaucratic routine. And what a disgrace for the accused, too! Suffice to say, I'm quite happy with the result.
Many thanks to Kayona Kim for suggesting some Korean first names to me. The name Park I swiped from a student I took a neuropsychology seminar with. Didn't talk to her much but… I noticed her :-)
BTW, I'm not quite sure if "sanctions" is more appropriate than "punishments"… I'd appreciate your thoughts on this.
EDIT:
albone: Thanks a lot! I'm glad you appreciate the panels individually; I'm trying some sort of new approach to drawing the pages here (without thumbnails this time, but a bit of brainstorming before starting :-) ), so it's nice to hear your opinion on this.
DAJB: Thanks, and… hmmmmm what can I tell you about the hooded guy in the 2nd panel without giving away too much? How's about… "almost"?
trevoramueller: Thanks a lot, I think it's the first time I carried the cliffhanger's momentum through to the opening of the next episode. And: yes, I like it too! :-)
Fitz: As I said to DAJB: Almost! Thanks for mentioning these details, it's always nice to hear they are being noticed :-) (Oh, and whenever you meet this gentleman make sure to refer to him as "Dr Park". He's a bit proud of that.) :-)
Midge: Thanks, I see your point. I guess with what you said "sanctions" is indeed appropriate, since it sounds a bit more… formal. Cold. Like what would be said at an office by someone who doesn't care much.
