As to the origin of this dialogue please see my comment on the previous page. I pretty much knew from the beginning that I'd do some sort of collage of the four characters on this page, but the decision on how I'd do the first two panels took me some time. Again I tried to do something I hadn't done before, so I drew this juxtaposition of two different eras in Arcadia's history.
Curiouser and curioser… Why is Jack imagining Naomi naked? Because he can, that's why!
You might notice on the bottom of this page I've got my own domain now… and you might wanna check it out since (within a few days' time) it's actually (going to be) two pages ahead of the drunkduck and smackjeeves accounts :-)

Fitz: Haha… I thought you might like this one. Well, I sort scenes into two categories: Investment and pay-off. Placing the line you mentioned next to Michelle is definitely pay-off… I rarely get the shivers reading my own stuff, but here… oh man (just kidding) :-) But yeah, I'm completely aware of this. And that is exactly the reason why I root for Michelle… I always go for the evil girls.

Nepath: Thanks, I had to weave this particular dialogue together from several pieces I'd written, glad you enjoyed it. As for Jack/Naomi or Jack/Michelle… well, it's not that surprising, with Naomi being the center of sympathy and all… but the Jack/Michelle relationship will serve important story purposes too, a few episodes down the road… hope you're going to stick around for the years it is going to take me to draw them :-)
