Although I usually try to make these pages as interesting to look at and as much fun to draw as possible, knowing that what you'll have to draw is basically yet another page of talking heads can be quite demotivating. Still, I'm happy with how this page turned out, I had fun with the character's "acting"… plus, Naomi's cute in panel 4 :)
Note that Deckard's saying "you're scaring these kids witless for no GOOD reason", so… he'd probably scare someone witless if it was for a good reason.
REPLIES:
Fitz: Yeah, uh… for some action, look forward to the next episode :-) And you know – when it comes to talking heads I bet even Wally Wood could learn a thing or two from you!
DAJB: Whoa, thanks for sharing this great resource… and there I thought I couldn't possibly hold Wally Wood in higher esteem than I'd already done!
trevoramueller: Didn't think of that :-)
lit: Thanks a lot, especially considering catching up with a comic like this is one of the least things people with attention spans like you AND ME are likely to do. There's several sprawling archives still waiting for me to raid (Acrobat's being one of them)! And thanks for the feedback; I know some things in this comic are quite unclear, mostly because I've been drawing it for so long that when I started I had no clear concept of efficient storytelling. So one task I'm trying to accomplish now is clearing up the things which I feel need clearing up!
