A Bit Cheesy
Author notes
Modern Moonlight (page 4)
Fitz onGah! So much for regular Thursday updates ;) It's Tuesday and I'm almost a week late. And tired. Oh well, at least my bedtme didn't change - it's still 2am ;) So I am sticking to the plan on some level :P The good news is, the next page will be here probably next Thursday! Which, by the way, is a very important date - A Bit Cheesy's official birthday! So be there or be square ;)
No mice in sight on today's page. Instead, you get to see our old friend, the spider - and a beautiful butterfly. Which is not something you'd come across in a library - or this geographic region, for that matter. But it's PRETTY! And again, do not expect realism in a comic about a mouse in love with a human ;) I had fun drawing those icky beasties, especially that "wicked tongue" in the bottom panel. Speaking of which, I think it's my favorite metaphor on todays page. It just hit me - the image and the line at the same time. It was one of those "epiphanies" that REALLY help. And I spent an INSANE amount of time writing and re-writing the dialogues for this page. I went over them so many times I don't even know if they are funny or make sense, any more. Hm… But I'm happy with them :) Hope you enjoyed! :D
Speaking of which, do you love the guest appearance of the color red as much as I do?
