I'm late - AGAIN :) I think I should put that up in the comic's banner: "Updated: LATE!" ;) But of course you forgive me. I know I forgive myself :P
Thus, episode 6 has come to a conclusion. So, as usual, you get a splash page! A surprising amount of thought went into this one… It has an unusual amount of dialogue for a splash page. But the thing that had me thinking for quite a while was: who would fit the part of hotchick25 best. Originally, it was supposed to be a little girl, based on "Two and a Half Men's" Jake. Then I thought: how about a 300lbs 50-year-old bald guy in a wife-beater? With beer and pizza! Theeen I thought: how about a 300lbs 50-year-old, scruffy tranny? Think Chris Crocker in thirty years. I even resorted to www.uglypeople.com and found a bunch of interesting candidates. But none was the proverbial IT. So, instead, I googled some more. And I found IT! Oh, the gems you can find when you google: "sexy granny"… LOL! Seriously! I think I saw Morgan Fairchild there, too. But this one… Faye Dunaway, eat your heart out ;)
As for the upper part of the picture… It's supposed to look a bit like the Matrix, with letters breaking into digits. Though I'm not sure if it's clear enough in this picture, and I guess I'll redo it at some point when I'm not as lazy as today :P
In other news… A Bit Cheesy is one year and three days old! Yup! On April 30, 2007, I sat down, put a pencil to paper - and the rest is History! A history of blood, sweat, tears! ;) And of sleepless nights and conjunctivitis. No birthday party, though ;) Not even a B.Y.O.B. one ;) I need rest! Got a couple days off from work. Ah, Labor Day - glorious remnants of our commie tradition ;)
Next episode… sometime in two weeks. Won't name any exact date - because I know I'll be late. But it's going to be pretty special :) So, see you then!
