Sooo… I'm late with the new page, AGAIN - but it's a smaller delay than the last one, so I feel excused ;) I got two weeks off from work. I spent it SLACKING and I loved every minute of it :P

Aaanyway…

This page was fun to do - although at first I had no idea what it'd be about. This is how I work: write one page at a time and worry about the next one later :P So I had this one ingenious line for Ryan - which has been in my head for months - but I had to ditch it, eventually. Because it turned out there is no Peter Pan statue in Central Park. I've no idea why I thought there was! :| But there is a statue of Alice in Wonderland - complete with big mushrooms, the Mad Hatter, the hare and the Cheshire Cat. Who - strangely enough - doesn't have the famous Cheshire Cat grin on.

And I'm getting hungry every time I look at that donut!

In other news… The 2008 Drunk Duck Awards ceremony is over. Yours truly got nominated for Best Layouts - so thanks to everyone that voted! :) The competition was strong, so I don't feel shattered by my loss. OK, maybe a little :P But I didn't drown my sorrow in Diet Coke (no alcohol, please). Congrats to the winners - some of them my friends, including Vickie (Used Books) and TTyler (Hades and Engine) The presentations were so much fun, too. You should check them out, if you haven't - especially BetaJess's and Trevor's photo comics for the Romance and Political cathegories!

That's all for now, kids ;) See you soon - in less than a month, hopefully? Photorealistic graphics just take a LOT of time. Maybe I'll switch to photo comics? I'll just grab some pics off Istockphoto.com, tweak the colors and contrast - and voila! Muahaha!
