Another evolution from the original 1980 series: Back then A.G.N.E.S. was a disembodied ship's vocal system, much like the one that saved Tara back in the opening pages of this series. A.G.N.E.S. had her moments: lacking in human emotion, she was nevertheless programmed to attend to humans and her humor at times was on a deadpan par with Betty White. Mostly she just got on Dion Shola's last nerve on a regular basis.
In this series there is a definite need for A.G.N.E.S. to have a purpose and designation, so she will be in charge of Tara's physical rehabilitation… Interestingly, since she has been through amnesia, Tara's primary attachments have thus far been with androids.
